I'm an artist, a chef, a mum, and the founder of WeAre8. I'm from Australia, but based in London, and alongside so many of you, I'm building WeAre8, The People's Platform.

But on this platform, ZoeKalar.com, I'm doing something more personal. This is a place to share my raw, unfiltered thoughts. Every Sunday I'll publish a post—a new edition of Zoe's Thoughts—as a way to share what I'm reflecting on and dreaming about.

I've been thinking...the more technology takes over the world, the more we yearn those moments that are unmistakably human. The eye contact. The physical touch. The sense of feeling seen after a long chat.

Humans trust humans.

The trust between us operates on its own timescale. It rejects the pressure to move fast and break things. It breathes in. It breathes out. It builds patiently, just one step at a time.
